On December 22, 2017, the President signed into law the most comprehensive tax reform act since Ronald Reagan was President. It is officially titled “An Act to Provide for Reconciliation Pursuant to Titles II and V of the Concurrent Resolution on the Budget for the Fiscal Year 2018.” Politicians named it “The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017.” And, the CPAs and tax professionals affectionately call it “The CPA and Tax Preparers Lifetime Job Security Act.” Come hear Harry Eng, practicing CPA, Enrolled Agent, explain how the Highlights of the Tax Cuts & Jobs Act of 2017 will affect individual taxpayers and small business owners.

During the evening Harry will discuss which laws, regulations, and procedures have changed, answer your technical questions, and offer suggestions you might consider adopting to minimize your taxes in this and coming years. Also, he will explain in simple and easy to understand terms why the return you will file this spring will be radically different from any tax return you may have filed in the last 30+ years.

In addition to being a practicing CPA, Enrolled Agent, Harry is a principal partner of the Fox Valley Tax Solutions and a certified SCORE mentor. He is a well-known speaker on federal and state taxes.
